Rock chick Leanne visited me today for a Bridal make-up trial. We had a great, girly morning talking about our love of music and going to gigs.
As Leanne's trademark look when going out, is a strong, smoky eye, we decided on using that look for her wedding day. Paired with minimal blush and peachy, natural lips.
Leanne has great skin so I prepped with Bobbi Brown cleansing oil and Hydrating face tonic and used the Vitamin enriched face base and Hydrating eye cream.
She has great freckles too, (which she hates!), but I insisted we see those through the make-up, as I love that and they are so pretty.
I used a Long-wear foundation and then corrected and concealed underneath the eye area, then lightly powdered down the t-zone.
Brows were kept natural and feathery with just a bit of eyeshadow and brow gel.
Eyes - I used cream eyeshadows and created a soft, smoky eye and then applied some Red cherry false eyelashes to add more drama. A Bobbi Brown pencil in Jet was then applied in the waterline. I then added some water resistant mascara on both top and bottom lashes.
No bronzer was used, as I love the contrast of pale skin and dark hair, a beautiful look. A cream, nude peach blush was used in Fresh melon and then a shimmer brick in Pink glow along the top of the cheekbones.
Lips were prepped with lip balm then blotted off, a pencil applied all over then a gorgeous natural shade of lip colour in Hibiscus by Bobbi Brown to finish off the look - perfect!
