I returned back to work after 5 months, at the end of August for my first wedding back.  It was so nice to get back to what I love doing, albeit a little nerve wracking...

I have always took a great pride in my customer service, my work and hygiene practises.

I want to ensure you all that I am continuing to work hygienically and professionally, following government guidance in order to continue working towards containing the virus.

I have been busy with makeup lessons and weddings, working safely and hygienically at all times.

Wedding bookings for next year, as you can imagine, are very limited, as I have successfully transferred most of my weddings from this year over. However, please do check with me as there are one or two spaces available.

From 2022 I aim to be concentrating more on my studio work and I will only be taking on Bride and Mother of the Bride for wedding work.  I will also be announcing another exciting service, so watch this space!!

I am excited to now be offering Virtual makeup lessons!  After the recent success of the NHS Morale boost day which I completed, (where I spoke to NHS workers all over the U.K).  A scheme set up by celeb Makeup artist, Caroline Barnes.  (I was very honoured to be involved!), I have decided to make virtual lessons an on-going service and they are proving very popular!  I really enjoy doing them!  I have also recently been helping Mums with their daughters, during the lockdown, so a joint session.  Great fun!  It is also a great way of maybe teaching your teenage daughter about her make-up, maybe if they are wearing too much or the wrong shade foundation.  Tina will help them, in a non-intimidating, fun way.

Having a virtual makeup lesson will not only save you time and money, but it will save you from being overwhelmed by the sheer amount of products that are available to you, plus it will enable you to realise what products are not working for you anymore...all in the comfort of your own home.

A 1-1 Virtual make-up lesson is £75. This needs paying in full prior to the lesson, (Tina will send her bank details so you can pay via online banking). A lesson usually takes an hour.  Gift vouchers are available too and make a great gift.

Download the Zoom app for free and you will then receive a link for your appointment, (once a time has been agreed between you both). It is very easy to use. Just click on the link and we will be connected at the agreed time!  Don't worry if you are not very technical, Tina will guide you if you wish, (if she can do it, so can you!!)

Prior to the lesson Tina will email you a questionnaire so she can get to know you better and tailor the lesson for you.  You will also need to email her photos of yourself wearing no makeup and your usual makeup.  After the lesson Tina will post you out your complimentary Personalised face chart and product list together with a free makeup guide.

Tina will begin the lesson discussing your requirements and questionnaire, moving on to skincare then the makeup application.

Tina will demonstrate certain techniques on herself during the lesson, (if needed). She will then guide you through each make-up step to ensure you enhance your natural beauty. I am excited to say I am going to be offering virtual makeup lessons during the lockdown (and on an ongoing basis) via Zoom.  I have already done a few and had some great feedback!  Please contact me for more information as I can cater it for your requirements.  Sessions start from £75 for an hour lesson.

I am also taking part in a great project set up by the wonderful Caroline Barnes, for NHS workers, offering free, virtual 1-1 consultations to give them a morale boost.  Everyday there is going to be an amazing group of experts such as Mary Greenwell, Sali Hughes, Val Garland, Lisa Eldridge and Sam Chapman and I am honoured to be able to take part in it and give back something to the amazing work that the NHS do during this very difficult time in our lives.

I am also going to be setting up a new page for all of my lovely Brides/clients who have had to postpone their weddings/makeup lessons - where I can keep in touch with them and offer skincare advice and post up makeup inspiration for them.  This will hopefully be via my website as well as on social media, so watch out for updates!

I hope you are all keeping well and safe.  The best advice I can give to you is - look after your skin during this time.  Please contact me for any advice, I would be happy to help.  Also, try and do some yoga/exercise everyday, (I am loving Adriene Mishler on YouTube - amazing yoga guru).  Also, try and apply a little bit of makeup on yourself every morning, it really helps with feeling good - even if it by applying a little bit of moisturiser or lipstick, you will be surprised how different you feel, its all about self care, and you deserve it! Well, where do I start!!?  As you are aware by now we are in lockdown and so I am unable to physically see my clients and work on weddings.  I am heartbroken for all of my lovely Brides who have had to make the extremely difficult decision to postpone their wedding to either the end of this year or to next year.

I am honouring as many weddings as I can, by simply transferring them straight across to their new date, (subject to availability.)  I have emailed all of my clients updating them and I have managed so far to fit everyone in.

Unfortunately too, I have been unable to work doing my makeup lesson in my lovely makeup studio, however, as soon as this is all over, we can get back to it and I can't wait to be honest! I am really missing my work and meeting all of my lovely clients.

With all this craziness going on, it has led me to doing virtual makeup lessons and I have to say, they are working out pretty well!  Despite the fact I cannot physically apply the makeup onto my clients, they are given my time and expertise and I cater the lesson specifically for them.

Prior to the lesson I send a list of what you need to hand for the lesson and you let me know what you would like to learn from the lesson.  I demonstrate the makeup by applying it on myself.  The lesson takes about an hour and a half via the Zoom app, which is free for you.   After the session you receive a personalised face chart and product list, which has all of my recommendations on there and tips.  It is a fun way of learning how to make the best of your face using professional techniques...live!

I take you through each step - from cleansing to foundation right up to lipstick application.  I also offer Gift vouchers.  Please contact me if you are interested...I have just booked a lady one of these sessions all the way from the U.S.A!

A 1 hour bespoke make-up lesson with me at my studio includes the following -

The lesson begins with a chat about what exactly you require from the session and what kind of makeup look you are after.  I can then adapt the lesson to your requirements and needs.  Your photo is then taken, (usually with your own make-up on).  There is no pressure to have your photo online and Tina always obtains consent prior to posting, so please don't feel afraid if you would rather not have your photo posted.

Tina then discusses skincare and will advise on the best skincare for you and your make-up.  Skin prep is so important!

I then go through each step, from foundation to lipstick.  It is a really fun session and you can ask as many questions as you like throughout the lesson.

At the end of the lesson, your photo will be taken again with your make-up applied by me. You will also be given a personalised face chart and product list so you can go online and order anything you like that I have recommended or used.

I will then email you your before and after photograph together with your make-up procedure so you can practise your make-up at home.
