Tinas studio (false eyelashes and make-up)

False eyelashes.

To say I am obsessed with false eyelashes would be an understatement.  I always like to encourage wearing false lashes, especially if its for a special occasion, even if someone doesn't wear them.  They simply enhance your eyes and make you look like you have fuller, longer lashes...not a bad thing!  There are so many brands to chose from nowadays and there are lots of different styles too, so it can be a bit of a minefield when choosing.

I have just written my March column for the Journal magazine, and in it I talk about the best way to apply false lashes - once you have practised a few times, you will be well away!

False eyelashes don't have to look like you are in TOWIE or unnatural...infact, the very opposite.  If applied and chosen correctly, false eyelashes will make your eyes look amazing...as long as you have the correct make-up too!

Theres lots of tips and advice in my column so give it a read, if you are thinking of trying some false lashes! (see below for photo of my false eyelash drawer!)

Lots of bookings coming in now for this year and also for 2015 too..there are a lot of organised people out there!x

A lovely card from Pixiwoo.

Pixiwoo/Real techniques...

I have been a huge fan of Sam Chapman and Nic Haste for many years now, (aka Pixiwoo), and I have been lucky enough to be in touch with Sam for a good number of years.  She is so down to earth and when I contacted her to ask if she could sign a card for my Daughter, she didn't hesitate!  I also managed to buy my daughter some Real Techniques brushes and she was so excited when she opened them on Christmas day, they are lovely to work with and make applying make-up a real doddle!  Sam and Nic also sent me a lovely card too, which has pride of place in my make-up studio. Sam often comments/likes my work on Facebook, which is always a huge compliment to me, as I have a lot of respect for her.

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas, I had a great time! Its always so great to see my lovely family and friends...but far too much food and drink was consumed as usual!  Anyway, back to work and I have been inundated with enquiries and bookings for 2014/15.  2014 is nearly booked up now, with limited availability, so just contact me and I will check to see if I am available for you.  I have had quite a few bookings for 2015 too, so again, just contact me to check.  Happy new year everyone xxx

Healing Manor hotel.

Things have been very hectic for me recently...I have been busy preparing and shooting at the Healing manor, which is a beautiful gem, tucked away in the little village of Healing - http://www.healingmanorhotel.co.uk/ The restaurant here is fantastic and the food and service is great, everyone is so friendly and helpful here. Healing Manor is set in 38 acres + of Lincolnshire countryside and is simply stunning and is being restored back to its glory, having being given the respect it deserves...finally!

I have been taking lots of wedding bookings for this beautiful venue for 2013 and 2014 and I can honestly say, the bridal suite here is breath-taking and I can highly recommend.  There are 40 rooms too, which are currently being renovated.  This is one venue not to be overlooked...but to be booked!

Please see  I had the pleasure of working with the amazing Stella and Alf, (exquisite clothing range.) -http://www.stellaandalf.com/ We also had the honour of having the use of a beautiful, classic car from Graham Chapman - http://www.grahamchapmanclassiccars.com/which looked stunning with our theme and model.  Hair was by Scott James Preston-Smith, who is from Stephens' hair studio.

I also met the lovely and talented Leanne Surfleet - http://www.leannesurfleet.com/ who is an awesome photographer, and I am really looking forward to seeing her work from our shoot.
