I recently had the pleasure of working at the stunning Stoke Rochford hall in Grantham for a wedding. I love travelling and working as a make-up artist. Not only do I get to see lots of beautiful venues but I get to work with such lovely people too. I always love receiving my thank-you letters afterwards!
The brief given for this wedding was glamorous, so I knew I could really go for it with the make-up. Bridy wanted "Hollywood inspired glamour" so I went for a clean eye make-up, black liner with lashes and red lips, she looked amazing!
Then for her daughter, (who was Bridesmaid), we went for smokey, sparkly eyes with false lashes and nude lips, she looked beautiful. I used mainly Bobbi Brown but I also used Mac false lashes with Make-up Forever diamond powder, which looks so beautiful and glamorous.
Wedding season is still in full swing with lots of bookings being taken still for next year with limited availability, so please get in touch if you wanted to book.
Please see my Facebook page for further images.
I am really impressed with the new Bobbi Brown lip palette, it caters for all skin tones and has lots of lip colours and textures to choose from, (please see photo by Melbourne photography.) This was taken at The Habrough hotel.
I am getting very busy for the end of this year and also nearly booked up for next year, so please contact me to check availability/if you would like to book!
Its always lovely to receive thank-you letters and thank-you messages. Please see my Review area on my Facebook page, Tina Brocklebank Make-up artist, for updates, reviews and letters.
Wedding season is in full swing and this weekend is busy, busy. I am so lucky, I get to meet such lovely people and work in such beautiful venues too! This weekend I have had 3 weddings on. Last weekend I had the pleasure of working at The White Heather. Crystal has got married abroad and had her reception here, so I went to do her make-up for her. I had met Crystal about 5 years ago when she was a bridesmaid for one of her friends...now, it was her turn!
See the photo below, (photography by James Green.) James is a great photographer and I love working with him, he always produces such great images. Here I used the fantastic Bobbi Brown Long-wear foundations, as it was so hot! so I had to use long-lasting formulations for both the base and eyes. I could afford to go quite a bit darker than usual, as Crystal had a great tan! I could also use much richer shades on the eyes, cheeks and lips, as you can see. She looked stunning.
I am still loving writing my regular column for the Journal magazine, my next column is all about make-up brushes so keep an eye out for that!
I also have a few other exciting projects up and coming, so I will keep you posted on that too!

I had another very busy weekend last weekend - I also had the pleasure of doing 2 lovely ladies' special occasion make-ups for an evening wedding reception, as she had got married abroad. Kelly wanted a Kim Kardashian look so I knew I could really go for it with the make-up and contouring. I used lots of different products, including Make-up forever, Mac, Bobbi Brown, Louise Young, Tom Ford and Illamasqua, (see photo.) I also used some beautiful false eyelashes from Mac.
I have another very busy weekend ahead of me again, with 3 weddings on. Wedding season is in full effect! I am soon to be travelling to Stoke and also the beautiful Walcott Hall in Alkborough.
I hope you are having a fantastic Summer! I will write a blog soon about meltproof make-up I think!

I have had a very busy prom season, (see photo of the beautiful Alice Hendry.) Photo by Gary Davies - www.garydavisphotography.com
Alice has got amazing skin anyway, so I just enhanced that and you can see how beautiful and glowing her complexion is. I also used Mac false lashes here, which always accentuate the eyes beautifully, without looking too obvious.
I am half way through the wedding season now, and still lots of bookings and weddings are coming through. I have lots of bookings for next year with limited availability now.
I am really looking forward to doing 2 weddings tomorrow, one in Hull and then onto Crystals' at the White Heather. Saturday another busy day with 3 ladies for Natalies' wedding and then I am going to do Kerrys' evening make-ups. I will hopefully post some photos up.
Thanks for reading!

At the moment, things are very busy - with weddings and make-up lessons. I also had the pleasure of meeting the lovely people behind Lily Lolo cosmetics this week, which is based in Hull...watch this space!
Its also lovely when I get to see my work in a magazine. The June Lincolnshire Pride magazine is out, and I am proud to be mentioned in there from a lovely past bride of mine. (P111.) Emma Graham said "I could recommend every single supplier; they were all brilliant. However, I think the day wouldn't have been the same without Tina Brocklebank who did our make-up; she made us all look beautiful." It always makes me very proud. This was from a wedding I had the pleasure of doing at the beautiful Stubton hall near Newark.
I will be getting back to reviewing some products soon hopefully as I have been trying lots out. Lots of exciting projects up and coming so watch this space!
Thanks for reading x
In my June column this month I talk about how to achieve that lovely, even glow from using the right bronzing products. It never ceases to amaze me at how many ladies get it wrong, either by having a spray tan that is too dark for them and patchy or going on a sunbed that leaves them red and patchy with uneven areas, also, by using the wrong make-up products to create a bronzed effect.
By using minimal products you can soon look like you have a healthy glow...just in time for Summer, (yes, remember that word?!)Lets hope we get one!
Well, my make-up work has been very busy of late. Wedding/Prom season is in full effect now so I am really busy creating lots of different looks and having the pleasure of visiting lots of beautiful venues. My most recent was Wood Hall hotel in Wetherby, Yorkshire...such a beautiful venue to get married.
I am also enjoying using lots of new products. I am really impressed with the new Bobbi Brown compact Long-wear foundation. So easy to apply with, again, the right range of shades to choose from that make my job so easy! The foundation lasts all day too, a must with weddings and special occasions!
