
Busy week, doing demos at the Grimsby Institute and doing make-up trials too. I decided to buy the Bobbi Brown Pro Lip palette, (aswell as a few other essentials) for my make-up kit. This palette is awesome. Its got a range of 54 shades in it, ranging from very nude/natural to more pinky tones and then more dramatic reds/browns. I can't wait to use it. I am also loving using the new Illamasqua masquara in Raven, it is smudge-proof and water resistant (you can cry but you can't swim!), so essential for my Brides. The photo below is of a make-up test I did for the demo, its lovely I can go back to my creative roots and play around a bit with make-up, and the students are very enthusiastic so it helps. I am also going to be judging the make-up competition at the college at the end of the month, so I can't wait to see all of the different looks. I am also getting round to ordering some Daniel Sandler products in to try, so will keep you posted!x
When ladies book a make-up session with me, more often than not, most ladies are very concerned about their looks. They feel under constant pressure to look good, however, most ladies struggle with where to start with make-up and skincare. This is where I can help them with my 24 years of experience. But to quote Bobbi Brown, "All it takes is the right tools, products and a bit of knowledge."

Well, as a new year starts its straight back into work for me. I've got lots of exciting things lined up such as working with some lovely brides and ladies, I am also looking forward to doing a couple of photoshoots soon with my friend Charlotte Hay who is launching her fantastic clothing brand Stella and Alf soon, and then also Ali Lovegrove who is an amazing photographer, (www.alilovegrovephotography.com ), so watch this space for images soon.
