L'occitane immortelle precious night cream

L'occitane

L'Occitane Immortelle Precious cream - (£42 for 50 ml.)

I love using anything by this brand, although I think this is their star product.  My skin looks its best after using this cream, it is wonderfully hydrating and smells gorgeous too.  My skin is more radiant and youthful looking after using this, any fines lines are less apparent without a doubt so I will definately keep using this! 5/5
Sienna X cream to powder bronzer with illuminator

Sienna X

This duo offers a matte bronzer and highlighter, so great to add a bit of warmth to the skin and is not too orange so looks natural, it has a lovely consistency and is easily blended into the skin, I found working with it best with my fingers applied on the forehead, cheekbones, nose penis enlargement without pills and chin.  You then apply the illumninator on the high points of the face, however,  I found the highlighter not very light reflective and a bit dry.  This is £25 from www.sienna-x.co.uk This is lovely if you want to create a contoured look, but only using the cream to powder bronzer.  I give this product 3/5 as I did not like the smell of the product.

Heres to 2013!

Well, as a new year starts its straight back into work for me.  I've got lots of exciting things lined up such as working with some lovely brides and ladies, I am also looking forward to doing a couple of photoshoots soon with my friend Charlotte Hay who is launching her fantastic clothing brand Stella and Alf soon, and then also Ali Lovegrove who is an amazing photographer, (www.alilovegrovephotography.com ), so watch this space for images soon.

I am also loving working as a columnist for The Journal magazine - its my favourite thing to do talk about beauty/make-up so its perfect for me! See my January article here, I am talking about the shelf-life of products and give lots of recommendations -

I am really looking forward to another busy year - I am nearly booked up for this year with weddings with a few bookings already for 2014 so please get in touch if you would like me to check availability.  Heres to a great 2013!x

Collin Resultime.

I kindly got sent a mini-facial kit from Collin Resultime, and so set to work using it recently.

Jessica Biel is a big fan of this Parisian skincare brand who specialise in anti-ageing products.

I was impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the packaging too.  I particularly liked the deep cleansing scrub, eye cream and both of the moisturisers - my skin was left smoother and more hydrated...plus I loved pampering myself!  I would definatley recommend these products to all of my clients, particularly if they would like to get their skin to look its best, ready for a special occasion.

Their new website is set to launch 14th of December 2012, so have a look at the website -http://www.collinresultime.co.uk/ and try out these great products, your skin will definatley thank you for it.
Review

2013/2014 make-up bookings...

I received this lovely client testimonial this year, and I just had to share it with you.  It always makes me so happy when I receive lovely cards/letters like this...and I have lots! I keep every one, and every one is special to me.

Cat eye make-up

Cat eye make-up look.

First I tweezed Jessicas' brows and then applied a cream eyeshadow all over the eye area in Shore.  I then applied a mixture of Burnt sugar and Sable eyeshadow in the inner corners of the eyes, blending really well.  I also created a higher socket line by applying mahogany eyeshadow above the eye socket crease.  I then defined the brows slightly by filling in with eyeshadow.  Next I used an eyeliner brush by Shu Uemura, which was perfect for this job, as it helped me create that lovely, thin line along the lash-line and flick it out at the edge, also then running it underneath the eye all the way and in the waterline.  I then applied some false eyelashes and applied some Mac mascara to finish the eye make-up.  I balanced the make-up by using a nude lip-colour and blotting, also applying a peachy-blush by Bobbi Brown, (Apricot.)  It isn't a look everyone can wear, but it certainly is effective for those who can carry it off!
Tina Brocklebank Make-up artist studio.

Make-up studio in Lincolnshire.

Aswell as providing a mobile make-up artist service, I am based at my own make-up studio in Lincolnshire.  This is where I do my make-up lessons/make-up trials.  My make-up kit consists of only the best products and tools- Bobbi Brown, MAC, Illamasqua, Make-up Forever, Stila, Cover FX, Becca, Real Techniques, Louise Young, Shu Uemura, etc, etc!!

If you require false eyelashes, I prefer to use the full-strip type - Mac, Shu Uemura, Ardell and Eylure.  However, I do have individual false lashes too by Liz Martin.
With my experience, knowledge and products I can create any look that is required.
